Hit 45 Chart – Week Of August 15, 2015

Before we get to this week's exits and countdown, let's quickly recap last week. Last week, David Guetta held on to the #1 crown for a ninth week overall with Hey Mama. It's getting really close to the record holder which is still on the countdown today (yes, I realized I spoiled it by saying it's still here). X Ambassadors held at #2 with Renegades while Robert DeLong jumped not only into the Top 10 for the first time, but entering the Top 3 at #3 with Don't Wait Up. Demi Lovato and Zedd with Jon Bellion closed out the Top 5. Will Hey Mama be the #1 song for a tenth time overall?!?!?! You'll have to hang on to find out!

    - Wow, I was NAHT expecting that big jump from See You Again.
    - Could Calvin and Johnny make it a year?!?! (I hope so, but you know what would be really sadistic? If YOU-KNOW-WHAT broke the record the same week this song left. D:)
    - Speaking of Blame, what's the record for most weeks on the countdown?
    - Hello, Someone New. Nice to see you. :)
    - OH DANG LOCKED AWAY DONE MADE A BIG JUMP
    - Oh wow. You love that new 1D song now, don't ye?
    - Welcome, She's Kinda Hot. I actually grew quite into this song over the week.
    - Should I listen to Don't Wait Up?
    - I'm honestly not a big fan of In Love With a Boy.
    - What do you think of U2 - Song for Someone?
    - It seems like only a short time ago that The Night Is Still Young was at #2. :|
    - Speaking of which, X Ambassadors MUST GET THE THRONE. SOON. AS IN NEXT WEEK.
    - And finally…this week's #1 made me sad. Really sad. :(

      I know, it's shocking. But I'm about to… :)

    2. - As of right now, Blame holds the record for most weeks on the countdown.
      - I would say you should listen to Don't Wait Up is you haven't already just because you don't know yet whether or not you'll like it.
      - I think Song For Someone is decent-ish. I was never a fan of U2. But it's not bad at least.
      - What's shocking is that when The Night Is Still Young was at #2, Hey Mama was at #1. It's interesting to see where they both are now.

      - And finally.........

Yaaaaaassssssss I love Drag Me Down!!!!!!!!!!

    3. Oh yeah. :D

I honestly wouldn't mind it hitting #1 here (aka H45) - as long as Renegades does too. :,(

    1. Yeah. With the spare time I had yesterday, I thought it would be good to make this site look a little less boring in terms of looks.
